"Heading North" is about a young person experiencing gender euphoria for the first time, but because of their age and limited exposure to the world, they aren't quite sure what it all means yet. Living in Arizona and with a hot-tempered older brother, this is not something Thomas nor Pete have ever even considered exploring, but when something new happens to Thomas, they know they have their brother, Pete, in their corner. "Heading North" is a quiet celebration and wonderment of trans joy.
